Enjoy Stelvio National Park 2021: Last four days of climbs

image
The last four days in August offer sports enthusiasts a fantastic opportunity.

Four days of uphill climbs on the most famous ascents in and around the Stelvio National Park.

From 26th to 29th August Enjoy Stelvio National Park is back; the roads made famous by the Giro d’Italia will be closed to motorised traffic.

Free rein for cyclists and anyone who loves the outdoors; the non-competitive event is open to all.

While the roads are closed to traffic, you can take on the climbs in complete freedom; not forgetting the rules of the road, caution and respect for anti-Covid 19 measures. And of course respect for the beautiful, delicate Alpine environment you will be riding through.

Please moderate your speed in descent out of consideration for less expert road users.

For your comfort and safety, wearing a helmet is strongly recommended, as is clothing suitable for high altitudes and long descents.

These are the final ‘stages’ of the 2021 edition of Enjoy Stelvio National Park:

Thursday 26/08 – Mortirolo Pass (both sides from Mazzo in Valtellina and Monno, from 08:30 to 12:30);

Friday 27/08 – road to Laghi di Cancano (from 08:30 to 12:30);
